Ok, I use my iPhone a lot! I use it for both work and personal use. After thinking about it or a while, there are a handful of apps that I use on a regular basis. Here are those apps (in no particular order)!
This is a main form of communication for me. How else would I send pictures, get instant status updates, or converse with someone that I didn’t want to talk to on the phone?
The only way to connect to Exchange and get my work email. Ok, I could use the native iOS Mail app but Outlook is much better! My favorite feature is the ability to share my availability with a few simple “clicks”.
Do you have a Gmail account? Then you should be using the Gmail iOS app. Some people love it and some people hate it. I’m a fan of it but there are some wonky things. The ability to have all of my accounts in one spot is enough for me.

It’s LinkedIn, no explanation needed.
It’s Twitter, no explanation needed.
- Google Maps
Well… I might directionally challenged but Google Maps will get me to my destination. It’s also much better than Apple Maps, tied to my Gmail account, and works well with Fantastical.
A calendar app that syncs my Gmail and Exchange calendars all into one. Also, if there’s an address, just click on the address and Google Maps will load.
Only the best note taking application, business card scanner, and website clipper out there!

Out of curiosity, I took a look at my battery usage (Settings > General > Usage > Battery Usage) to find out which applications I actually use the most. Coincidentally, I wasn’t that far off.
