Today’s post is going to be short and sweet!
Today I’m departing Minneapolis to make a 370ish mile journey to Milwaukee by bicycle. Let me tell you, I’m super excited! This will be the longest biking trip I’ve ever done and it will be with great people and for a great cause. We’ll be blogging along the way at m2m4deano.com
What’s the Ride For?
On August 31st, eight friends will begin a six-day bike ride from Minneapolis to Milwaukee to support the fight against brain cancer. The 370-mile ride is a small token of appreciation for all the good times, support and the approach to life Dean Johnson showed us before he lost his battle with glioblastoma this spring. The route begins following the Mississippi River before heading east along the Elroy-Sparta and “400″ state trails, through the unglaciated driftless and Devil’s Lake areas, across the Wisconsin River via ferry, through the state capitol, ending on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Please contact Dan at email@example.com for more detailed information or if you are interested in joining us for a leg of the journey. It would be great to have you join us to start things off in Minneapolis or help us wrap it up in Milwaukee.
